Peggy Ann Johnson “Granny” Born November 19, 1939, in Bradley County, Tennessee to Ruben Roosevelt (Mattie Goode Dunn) Clements went home on February 27, 2026. She is proceeded in death her Husband Robert Paul Johnson, parents Ruben Roosevelt (Mattie Goode Dunn) Clements, Mother-in-law Alberta Wood Johnson (George) Cansler and Glen Johnson, Brothers Isaiah Clements, Jeremiah Clements, Nehemiah Clements, Sisters: Mary E. Goldston, Mildred (Calvin) Thompson, Naomie (Clarance) Manning. Brother-in-law Glen (Jennie) Johnson Jr., Charles Johnson, Sisters-in-laws Elnora Nalley, Magnolia McDermott, Joyce Brown.
She was a member of St. James Cumberland Presbyterian Church under the leadership Rev. Rodney Dunn.
Peggy was a generous faithful woman of God, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was loved and respected by any and all who knew her.
She graduated from College Hill High School. She retired from Dr. Scholls and Bradley Cleveland Community Services.
She was married to Robert Paul Johnson for 62 years. To this union they have four children Paul L. Johnson, Robin A. Jonhson, Timothy F. (Aretha) Johnson, Sharon L. Johnson.
Six grandchildren Tearra Johnson, Shawndya (David III) Anderson, Kadesha Jones, Joshua Wells, Angelique (Alonzo) Bolanos, Emmett Watts and ten great-grandchildren. Sister: Emma Thomas. Sisters-in-laws , Alberta (Swan) Hover, Jean Malone,
