Zandra Jackson Obituary

Zandra Forbes Jackson, age 68 of Cleveland, Tn., (January 8, 1956---April 13, 2024) Born to the union of Dorothy and Alexander King and the third oldest of her siblings, her roots were in the Lord. Zandra attended Inman Street as a young girl until later, 2017, transferring her membership to Tribe of Judah Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Pastor Fitzgerald McCastle.

 

She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, cousin, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was an awesome wife for over 33 years to the love of her life Alvin Jackson whom she loved to spoil. Zandra was a woman of many talents. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, being creative, decorating, cooking, helping others, showing love, and talking about how good God is. She would make it a priority to cook Sunday dinners so that her family could eat and send plates to those in the neighborhood that had no family also. She was just a giver and loved everyone. She met no stranger. Her heart was pure and always giving. 

Zandra is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Mae Cisco and Alexander King, her brother John Cisco and sister Senovia Meridith. Her paternal grandparents, George and Gertrude King, maternal grandparent Pauline Cisco.

Those left to cherish her memories is her beloved husband Alvin Jackson, her daughter Tika Wilson and son Zamuson Forbes, of Cleveland, Tn.; grandchildren  A'dorian (Erin) Riley, JaDarvis Goldson, Air'ra Wilson all of Cleveland, Tn.; great grandchildren Malachi Vargus, Lynnin Riley both of Cleveland, Tn.; sister Kay Wood of Charleston, Tn.; step sisters Leslie Benton, Marion Jackson, Sandra Benton all of Cleveland, Tn.; Special cousins Debbie and Carla Mosby, Atlanta, Ga.; sister n law, Nancy (Daryl) Johnson of Cleveland, Tn.; Marilyn Williams of Ooltewah, Tn.; Sherry Jackson of Chattanooga, Tn and brother n law Tommy (Roberta) Jackson of Etowah, Tn.  She shared a special bond with two great nieces who called her "granny" and she loved them as so A'Kayla and A'Keyla Jackson ; great-great nieces Na'Shyah Jackson, Dai'ionna Draper, great, great nephews Tayhvon Jackson, Dahmyaus Draper all of Cleveland, Tn,; *handpicked daughter, Harmony Greenwood and granddaughters MaRyah Greenwood and Maddie Greenwood, all of Cleveland, Tn.; along with a host of other nieces/nephews, best friend/sister Rhonda Browder, Detroit, Michigan and best friend Christy Wilkinson, Simpsonville, South Carolina.
